BP award PSR contract to develop custom FCC training for refinery operators and engineers
15 September 2010
PSR Refining Services Pty Ltd has today been awarded a contract to develop a series of custom E-Learning training modules on FCC operation for BP Refining.
The modules – which will feature a high degree of animation and interactivity – will be used to give senior operators and junior process engineers a sound introduction to the theory and practice of FCC operation.
This contract follows on from a custom module PSR developed for BP in May 2010:
PSR were contracted by BP to develop an eLearning training module covering gamma scanning interpretation. We were very pleased with the end product – the quality of the animation and the interactive nature of the module was excellent
- Stuart Fraser, Head of Separations, BP
In a statement from PSR, Company Director Ed Hewines said:
PSR are very pleased to be further developing our relationship with BP. Between our 40+ years experience in the oil industry and our multi-media/3D animation capabilities, we believe this will prove to be a truly world-class FCC training program
In addition to custom training projects, PSR also provide a library of turnkey e-learning solutions for the oil and gas industries. More information can be found at their website or by contacting sales@psr-refiningservices.com
